Harte Utilities Limited have created an Integrated Health, Saftey and Environmental & Quality Management System. This management system is designed as a working tool to assist individuals within the company in the performing of their day to day activities, the intention being to promote consistent management and decision making.

Incorporated within the system is an all encompassing Health, Saftey and Environmental section providing guidance regarding the best practice as well as legislation, processes, forms, procedures, guidance notes and other useful information.

Continuous Health & Saftey improvement is driven and delivered through the employment of the company's KPIs. Frequent score based HS&E inspections and audits , senior management HSE&Q tours, employee consultaion, a committed training regime, regular Tool Box Talks etc.... has led to a truly, genuine Saftey conscious feel throughout the Company.

Currently the company is working towards achieving Achilles Verify Category A accreditation and, with the majority of staff, both management and operational, having worked for Achilles Verified companies, are confident of a high rating.

Access to HSE website e-bulletins, HSE Newsletters and memebership of bodies such as EU Skills keeps the company up to date with legislative changes in health and saftey.

In house evaluation of staff is an ongoing initiative of Harte Utilities to ensure all operatives and staff receive the correct training at the appropriate time.
